05 Persons Arrested for ‘Pasting Threat Posters’ in Tral

The Jammu Kashmir Police arrested five persons in Tral belt of Pulwama for ‘pasting threat posters’ in the area.

A Police official told The Kashmiriyat that several threat posters of the Militant outfits were found pasted in Seer & Batagund villages of Tral area on January 12 after ehich the Police registered an FIR No. 04/2021 under relevant sections of Unlawful Activities Act in Police Station Tral.

During the course of the investigation, the Policemen raided multiple places and rounded up several suspects.

During the questioning of suspects and collection of other evidence, 05 ‘Militant’ associates were found to be involved in pasting the said threat posters in Seer and Batagund area of Pulwama’s Tral.

The arrested were identified as  Jehangir Ahmad Parray S/o Ghulam Nabi Parray, Aijaz Ahmad Parray S/o Gh Mohammad Parray,  Towseef Ahmad Lone S/o Mohammad Ramzan Lone,  Sabzar Ahmad Bhat S/o Abdul Rashid Bhat and Qaisar Ahmad Dar S/o Gulzar Ahmad Dar all residents of Gulshanpora Tral.

One Laptop and a printer used for the preparation and printing of the said threat posters have been seized in the said case, the official said.
