One Militant has been killed in the exchange of gunfire between militants and Government forces at Kachwan area in Kokernag belt of South Kashmir’s Islamabad (Anantnag) District.
Sources told The Kashmiriyat that a team of 19 RR was fired upon by Militants in the Kachwan area, after which the Army retaliated to the firing.
The Forces retaliated and the exchange of fire continued for at least fifteen minutes, as per sources.
Officials told The Kashmiriyat that one Militant has been killed in the exchange of gunfire, while the firing at the encounter site is still going on.
Locals told The Kashmiriyat that the firing started around 1330 PM,.
