Unknown person late night on Monday set ablaze a Panchayat Ghar at Pinglan area of Pulwama district in south Kashmir.
The Government forces, who arrived on the spot, surrounded the entire area and launched a search operation but they did not find anyone, Significantly, more than a dozen Panchayat houses have been set on fire.
This is the 14th incident of the burning of a Panchayat house by terrorists in Kashmir since the announcement of Panchayat elections in the state.
A few daya ago, unknown persons had set on fire the panchayat house in Vattu village of Kulgam district.
