6 Hour Long CASO Ends at Khudwani, Nothing Found

July 23 The Cordon and Search Operation launched by Government Forces in Wani Mohallah and later extended to Lone Mohallah in Khudwani area of Kulgam in South Kashmir has ended just now. Officials told The Kashmiriyat that the CASO that had been launched by 1 RR of Indian Army, CRPF and Jammu Kashmir Police has been called off after nothing was found in the area. Massive clashes had erupted in the area between youth and Forces in which one youth was hit with a tear smoke shell on his head, he has been shifted to Srinagar for specialised treatment. Meanwhile a CASO is also going on at Harmain area of South Kashmir's Shopian District.

July 23 A youth identified as Shakir Ahmed has been critically wounded during Intense clashes in Khudwani area of South kashmirs Kulgam District on Monday. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that massive stone throwing clashes erupted after forces launched a CASO in the wani Mohalla area of Khudwani. The youth as per hospital sources has been hit with a tear smoke shell in his head and has been shifted to Srinagar for specialised treatment from District Hospital Islamabad. Massive Door to Door Operation at Harmain Shopian

July  23 A Cordon and Search operation has been launched at Harmain area of South Kashmir's Shopian District on Sunday. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that 34 RR of Indian Army and Jammu Kashmir police jointly launched the cordon and search operation in the locality. Following a specific input about Militant movement, the troops have launched a CASO  in the area. A Local told The Kashmiriyat that the search operation is still going on as hundreds of troopers are conducting a door to door search operation. Details emerging.

CASO Ends in Tral, Nothing Found

July 23 The Cordon and Search Operation launched by Government Forces in Rathsuna area of Tral of South Kashmir's Pulwama District has ended just now. Officials Sources told The Kashmiriyat that the CASO that had been launched by 42 RR of Indian Army, CRPF and Jammu Kashmir Police has been called off after nothing was found in the area. After conducting a door to door search operation, nothing was found in the area. Meanwhile a CASO is also going on at Khudwani area of South Kashmir's Kulgam District.

Woman Dies in a Tractor Accident in Pulwama

July 23 A woman died identified as Jawahira Akhtar of Mangalpora Pulwama in South Kashmir died late night on Sunday when a tractor skidded off the road and fell down into a Nallah. Locals told The Kashmiriyat that the driver of the tractor she was travelling in lost control of the vehicle and resulted into the death of the lady and at least eight others were injured. July 23 The Government Forces on Monday launched a Cordon and Search Operation at Wani Mohallah of  Khudwani area in South Kashmir's Kulgam District. Locals told The Kashmiriyat that vehicles of Government Forces including Police and RR of Indian Army reached the locality on Monday noon and started a search operation in the locality. Pertinently yesterday on Sunday an encounter had raged in the Wani Mohallah area of Kulgam district in which three houses were also razed to the ground and three Militants killed.
