The Flood of 2014 in Kashmir valley has damaged many structures in the valley although, some structures have been reconstructed but the locals of Hakhura are still waiting for the construction of the bridge near Khar-Mohalla Hakhura of Kokernag Tehsil.

This bridge connects Hardpora, Achabal & Khar-Mohalla Hakhura with the main road of Hakhura-Kokernag & facilitates thousands of people, especially school going students.

During floods & rainy seasons hundreds of families cannot cross the river & transport remains cut off resulting in grave problems of general public.

While talking to The Kashmiriyat some senior citizens appealed the Governor of the state to take serious notice of this grave problem & long pending demand of village Hakhura & sanction the bridge immediately.
