South Records 7.16, Budgam records 17 Percent Polling

The Chief Electoral Officer of Jammu Kashmir has released the toll count and percentage of votes polled on Monday for different districts of Kashmir valley and Jammu division. He said that 8.3 per cent of the electorate voted in the first-phase of the urban local body polls in Kashmir Valley, while Kargil recorded the highest turnout of 78 per cent. Rain, Snow Predicted in Parts of the Kashmir Valley

October 08 After a brief dry spell, the weather department has predicted intermittent rain today in the Kashmir Valley. A MeT official said that there are chances of rain and snowfall in parts of the Kashmir Valley. “Higher reaches and plains can receive moderate to heavy rainfall on Monday and Tuesday,” he said adding that weather will be clear from Monday. Looking at the weather in Kashmir, over the next 7 days, the maximum temperature will be 25℃ on Saturday 13th October. In the same week the minimum temperature will be 5℃ on Thursday 11th October at around 5 am. The national weather service for Srinagar is reporting Tuesday 9th October to be the wettest day in the coming week.
