November 28 With the Killing of two Militants in Budgam in an encounter in Central Kashmir on Wednesday, the death toll in violence related incidents has climbed to 46 in November. Two militants of Lashkar-e-Toiba and an army man Prakash Jadhav were killed and two CRPF men injured in the gunfight at Redwani area of south Kashmir's Kulgam district Tuesday. In a separate encounter at Hafoo, Reshipora area of Tral in south Kashmir's Pulwama district, a militant owing allegiance to Zakir Musa-led Ansar Ghazwat-ul-Hind, an Al-Qaeda offshoot, was killed. Naveed Jutt Killing, Protests Erupt in IUST, Bemina Degree College

November 27 Scores of students of Islamic University of Science and Technology and Government Degree College Bemina staged a protest demonstration against the killing of slain Lashkar commander Naveed Jatt in Budgam on Wednesday. Eyewitnesses told The Kashmiriyat that students raised pro-independence and anti-India slogans and marched through the campus of Islamic University. In Srinagar's Bemina Degree College, The students also pelted stones on the forces. However, the witnesses said, the government forces did not retaliate to the protesting students. Meanwhile, reports said that as the news about the killing of top militant commander Naveed Jatt reached Pampore, the shopkeepers downed their shutters.

November 28 Top Lashkar e Taiba commander Naveed Jutt has been killed in a gunfight with government forces in Chattergam area of Central Kashmir's Budgam district. The Kashmiriyat initially broke the news, "Naveed Jutt Likely Killed, Three Army Men Injured in Budgam Encounter." The official handle of Jammu Kashmir Police Zone confirmed that Naveed was killed in the gunfight along with a local militant. Two Militants were killed and three army men suffered injuries in the gunfight in Kathpora area of Chatergam area in Budgam district in central Kashmir. The authorities have suspended mobile internet services in the district while the train services across Kashmir region have been suspended as a precautionary measure.

November 28 At least fifteen people have sustained injuries during the ongoing clashes near the Encounter site in the Chattergam area of Central Kashmir's Budgam District where an encounter raged early morning on Wednesday The Government Forces fired tear smoke shells, pellets and bullets on the protesting youth as they tried to march towards the encounter site, Locals told The Kashmiriyat. Intense Clashes Erupt near Encounter Site in Budgam

November 28 Clashes between protesters and government forces erupted in Chatergam area of Central  Kashmir’s Budgam district where a gunfight between militants and forces is underway. Two Militant bodies have been recovered from the gunfight site, official sources told The Kashmiriyat. A Local told The Kashmiriyat that scores of protesters including women assembled and pelted stones on forces who responded to immense tear smoke shelling. Announcements are being made on loudspeakers in the mosques asking others to come out, a local told The Kashmiriyat. People in large numbers from adjacent areas are trying marching towards the encounter site.

November 27 Following a specific input about Militant movement, the Government Forces jointly launched a cordon and search operation in the Tengpuna area of South Kashmir’s Pulwama District. On Tuesday Night, the forces including 55 RR of Indian Army, CRPF and Jammu Kashmir police sealed all the entry and exit points to this Pulwama area. Locals told The Kashmiriyat that a heavy contingent of forces reached this locality and are conducting a search operation in the area. Locals from the area told The Kashmiriyat that forces barged into Shirpora area and smashed vehicles in the area.
