Clashes between protesters and government forces erupted in Chatergam area of Central Kashmir’s Budgam district where a gunfight between militants and forces is underway.
Two Militant bodies have been recovered from the gunfight site, official sources told The Kashmiriyat.
A Local told The Kashmiriyat that scores of protesters including women assembled and pelted stones on forces who responded to immense tear smoke shelling.
Announcements are being made on loudspeakers in the mosques asking others to come out, a local told The Kashmiriyat.
People in large numbers from adjacent areas are trying marching towards the encounter site.
