Two Men Electrocuted in Doda- Ababeel Volunteers Provide Medical Assistance

Mubashir Naik Two young man sustained serious injuries when they were electrocuted at Chakra Kastigarh block of Doda district on Wednesday. The Kashmiriyat verified that the duo identified as Mohammed Aquib, son of   Mohammed Ashraf Khan and Jahangir Hussain son of Abdul Hameed Wani, both residents of village Chakra, Kastigarh received electric shock on Wednesday morning at 9:00 am. Both the injured were shifted to District Hospital Doda immediately, from where were shifted to Government medical college Jammu for advanced treatment. Gunfight Starts Between Militants and Forces in Pulwama Kashmir

An Encounter broke out between government forces and militants at wanpora in Kangan area of Pulwama district on Wednesday morning. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that a cordon and Search Operation (CASO) was launched in the area by joint team of forces including 55 RR, CRPF and SOG of Jammu Kashmir Police on specific inputs about the presence of militants in the area in wee hours of Wednesday. An official said that, after trapping the militants, they were asked to surrender, however, opened fire, which was retaliated, thus triggering an encounter. Locals said that massive gunshots are being heard in the area, slow mobile internet services have also been barred in the district.

Meer Irfan A minor boy from Shopian was killed due to flash floods triggered by heavy rains in Dangam area of Shopian district in Kashmir on Tuesday. The boy identified as Hazim Malik, aged five, son of Rafiq Ahmad Malik, died late on Tuesday afternoon. Locals told The Kashmiriyat that Irfan had left home to play with his friends and after he did not return, they approached the Police to trace him.
