Class 12th July Exams For July Stand Cancelled, CBSE

The Central Board of School Education (CBSE)  in India has said that exams scheduled from July 1 to July 15 stand cancelled, amid the ongoing global pandemic. The board said that it will conduct exams when the condition allows/ is conducive. The Supreme Court earlier asked the CBSE if it will give students the option to appear for the exams later or will declare result on the basis of internal assessment Marks. The Board said that Class 12 students will be given a choice to opt out of exam. "Students who choose not to appear for remaining papers will be assessed on the basis of last 3 exams," the board said. China has been blocking Indian army patrols from patrolling points 10 to 13 in the Daulat Beg Oldi (DBO) area near the Line of Actual Control (LAC), Indian Military sources revealed. After Ladakh's Pangong Tso and Galwan river valley clashes, China has gone ahead to block Indian patrols in DBO sector. The DBO sector is important with regards to representing the Indian presence on Aksai Chin, which otherwise is largely controlled by the Chinese. Despite the two rounds of General-level talks where the two countries agreed to disengage further after the recent Galwan clashes, the Chinese have further bolstered their troops' movement and construction activities. Covid 19 on Thursday claimed another life in the form of a 57-year-old-man from Poonch district, who breathed his last at Government Medical College Hospital Jammu. Officials said that the deceased was undergoing treatment at Jammu GMC since past five days. "The man was shifted to GMC Jammu from an administrative quarantine in Samba," they said. He was also having some other body ailments, they said. Medical Superintendent of GMC Jammu, Dr. Dara Singh said that 57-year-old man from Poonch was having diabetes as well as kidney problems. The Jammu Kashmir Police has come under sharp criticism for not registering an FIR against Arnab Goswami owned Republic Bharat TV for running a fake news on his channel. Republic Bharat had run a news item claiming that the house slain Kashmiri Pandit Sarpanch in South Kashmir's Islamabad (Anantnag) district had been ransacked. The Kashmiriyat, however, run a fact check and found the news as baseless and merely aimed to incite communal and Anti-Kashmir hatred. The locals and Police officials verified to The Kashmiriyat that no such incident of ransacking has taken place in the area, "His house is safe and Local Muslims are taking care of it", a local told The Kashmiriyat. Two Militants Killed in Ongoing Sopore Encounter

Shabir Khan Two Militants have been killed during the ongoing gunfight that broke out between government forces and militants at Hardshiva   area of Sopores in Baramulla district on Thursday morning. A Police official told The Kashmiriyat that a cordon and Search Operation (CASO) was launched in the area by joint team of forces including 32 RR, CRPF and SOG of Jammu Kashmir Police on specific inputs about Militant presence in the area. An official said that, after trapping the militants, they were asked to surrender, however, opened fire, which was retaliated, thus triggering an encounter. The official said that two militants have been killed so far, while their identity remains to be ascertained. Meanwhile Internet has been snapped in the Sopore region.
