SSP Bandipora Rewarded Police Officials for Saving a Minor Boy from Drowning

Bandipora police rewarded the Police Officials who saved a minor boy from drowning in Nallaha Madhumati, yesterday. Two minor boys drowned while bathing and due to timely rescue eviction by police officials namely Ct. Fayaz Ahmad assisted by Tahir Bashir Bhat and Ct. Jahangir Ahmad of DPL,  Bandipora, who immediately jumped into the Nallaha after seeing the crowd shouting for help and rescued the two boys and evacuated them to district hospital Bandipora where doctors declared one of them dead on arrival. SSP Bandipora Sh. Rahul Malik- IPS in order to encourage their courageous valor by risking their own lives, honored the police officials with cash rewards, appreciation letters, and praised their timely efforts during the rescue operation.

On Monday, police in Prakasam district of Andhra Pradesh came up with a statement that they have identified 235 people who have become addicted to the consumption of sanitizer. They have stated that this could be due to non-availability of liquor. Last week, the region registered 14 deaths due to consumption of hand sanitizer. The COVID-19 patients are silently dying due to extremely low blood oxygen levels. The Doctors Association Kashmir (DAK) on Tuesday said that many COVID-19 patients are dying due to hypoxia, without showing signs of difficulty in breathing. “The concern with this odd presentation is that patients are coming to hospitals in critical condition when their chances of survival are less,” said DAK President Dr. Nisar ul Hassan in a statement issued to the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO).
