Bandipora police rewarded the Police Officials who saved a minor boy from drowning in Nallaha Madhumati, yesterday.
Two minor boys drowned while bathing and due to timely rescue eviction by police officials namely Ct. Fayaz Ahmad assisted by Tahir Bashir Bhat and Ct. Jahangir Ahmad of DPL, Bandipora, who immediately jumped into the Nallaha after seeing the crowd shouting for help and rescued the two boys and evacuated them to district hospital Bandipora where doctors declared one of them dead on arrival.
SSP Bandipora Sh. Rahul Malik- IPS in order to encourage their courageous valor by risking their own lives, honored the police officials with cash rewards, appreciation letters, and praised their timely efforts during the rescue operation.
