Nuner Attack on BJP Leader: Three Militants Arrested, Arms and Ammunition Recovered

Mother of ex-MLA of National Conference for Shangus, Abdul Majeed Mir's 80-year-old mother, Zainab Begum passed away on Sunday night. She was suffering from ill health for a brief period after which she passed away on the night of November 1. Many socio-political groups and personalities expressed grief on the demise and expressed condolences to the bereaved family. She was laid to rest after her last rites were performed at her native in Mir Mohalla area of Achabal in Anantnag district of South Kashmir. Hindu Sena defaces Signboard of India Islamic Cultural Centre in Delhi with ‘Jihadi Islamic Terrorist Centre’ poster

On Sunday, the Hindu Sena workers allegedly defaced a signboard outside the India Islamic Cultural Centre (IICC) at Lodhi Road. The posters had “Jihadi Islamic Terrorist Centre” printed on the poster. Photos of the incident went viral. DSEK Asks Private Coaching Centres to Apply For Fresh Registration

The Directorate of School Education Kashmir (DSEK) has issued a notification regarding the registration of all private coaching centres that expired on October 31. The department has already advised the parents not to enrol students in any un-registered coaching or tuition centre. “In order to follow up the registration process of private coaching/tuition centres for 2020-21 either for renewal of their registration or getting fresh registration, all the criteria should be adopted for the registration process,” reads a notification by the DSEK. The coaching centres will have to fulfil different criteria to become eligible for the registration. Civilian Employee Arrested In Jaipur for Working as a Spy For Pakistan

On Saturday, the Special Branch of CID in Rajasthan arrested Ram Niwas Gaura (28), a civil defence employee at Military Engineering Services (MES) for working as a spy for Pakistan's intelligence agency. He has been accused of working for the ISI (Inter-Services Intelligence) for some time. The J&K Board of School Education (BOSE) has rescheduled the first paper of class 12th students which was slated on November 10. Joint secretary examination in JKBOSE Prof. Aijaz Ahmad Hakak said the first paper of class 12th students has been rescheduled and will be held on November 22. “The venue of the examination however will remain unchanged,” Prof. Hakak said, adding that the examination of other subjects of class 12th will be conducted as per the datesheet already notified for students. “But now the examination of class 12th students will commence from November 12,” he said.
