Roshni Act- Family in Anantnag Township Gets Notice, Asked to Vacate Immediately
The Jammu Kashmir High administration recently declared the Roshni Land act (2001) implemented by the then Jammu Kashmir Government as null and void.
Days after the High court order, the administration published the names of various political personalities including Farooq Abdullah and accused them to have occupied land in Jammu under the garb of the Roshni act, in what has been called scam now.
As more lists of prominent personalities continue coming up, the administration has served notice to a family in the South Kashmir township of Anantnag and asked them to vacate the place immediately.
