Mir Junaid Three persons including two troopers have been injured in a grenade attack on CRPF in the Nawab Bazar Chowk area of Srinagar in Central Kashmir on Friday afternoon. Sources told The Kashmiriyat that unknown persons hurled a grenade on CRPF men of 36 Battalion that exploded with a loud bang, in which three persons including a civilian sustained injuries. The injured were identified as Constable Fayaz Ahmed, CRPF Man Harish Kumar, and Hazik Ali, a civilian who is a resident of the Chanapora area in Srinagar As per the latest reports, the area was cordoned after the attack. The Jammu and Kashmir National Conference Member of Parliament from Anantnag (Retd) Justice Hassnain Masoodi has asked the government to urgently provide a minimum of 1600 bulk and medium capacity Oxygen Cylinders to Anantnag, Kulgam, Pulwama and Shopian districts of south Kashmir.
