Jaiwad had a meeting with Minister of Home Affairs Amit Shah and submitted a letter to him appealing for action against ”criminals” with regard to Sulli Deals app and Liberal Doge program, where Muslim women were objectified, sexualised and put on sale. The letter submitted to Shah is signed by 56 MPs of various parties. The photos of several Muslim women were put up on the Sulli Deals app for auction. Similarly, images of several Pakistani women were live-streamed on a Youtube channel called Liberal Doge and filthy comments were made about them on the occasion of Eid-U-Fitr this year. Jammu Kashmir would be granted statehood at an "appropriate" time after normalcy is restored there, the government told Parliament on Wednesday. Minister of State for Home Affairs Nityanand Rai stated this in a written reply to Rajya Sabha. 18 labourers were killed last night after a speedy truck hit the bus in Uttar Pradesh's Barabanki district, 28 km from state capital Lucknow, when they were sleeping in front of the same bus they had been travelling in. The labourers, who are originally from Bihar, were coming back from Haryana and Punjab when the bus they were travelling in broke down on the national highway that leads to Bihar. They then slept on the road in front of the bus. The truck hit the bus from behind, making the bus to move forward and crush the labourers.
