Woman dies in Quimoh road accident, daughter injured critically

Danishwar Hameed One woman died during a road accident in the Quimoh area of Kulgam district in south Kashmir while her daughter was injured in the road accident. An official told The Kashmiriyat that on Friday around 6.30pm, an oil tanker bearing the number JK02CR 7345 hit a scooty near the Khudwani bypass, injuring three persons. "In the said accident two pillion riders namely Nelofer wife of Mohammed Yaseen Mantoo and Zarka daughter of of Mohammed Yaseen Mantoo got injured and were evacuated to district hospital Anantnag," the official said. At least two dozen persons mostly children were hospitalized after they consumed 'poisonous food' at Zagipora Chararisharief area of Central Kashmir's Budgam district on Friday.
