The entire Boulevard stretch right from the Dalgate area of Srinagar district in central Kashmir remained choked for the second consecutive day on Friday, as hundreds of vehicles were seen heading towards Tulip garden.
Senior Journalist, Mufti Islah shared a video to his Twitter feed saying, “Chaos on Srinagar’s Boulevard as people rush to tulip and Mughal gardens. Think traffic police has no answer to such a madding rush. Will take hours to clear this mess.”
Eyewitnesses told The Kashmiriyat that since Thursday morning, long queues of vehicles are seen getting stuck on the entire Boulevard stretch.
The traffic mess has created a lot of trouble for the commuters who asked the Police to deploy extra personnel on the road so that the traffic mess can be resolved.
