FIR lodged against Muslims for offering Eid prayers on road in UP

The sub-inspector of the Railway Road police station filed a complaint on Friday alleging that over 100 to 200 people offered Eid Namaz on Thursday on the road. The FIR was lodged based on a complaint filed by Yogesh Kumar, a sub-inspector posted at Railway Road Police Station in the city. The FIR has been filed under sections 143 (Unlawful assembly), 186 (Obstructing public servant), 188 (Disobedience), 283 (Danger or obstruction in a public way), 341 (Wrongful restraint) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC). Shah Basit A teenager died in a road accident in the Ganderbal district of central Kashmir. Officials told The Kashmiriyat that a boy identified as Huzailullaha, son of Mohammed Shafi Ganie was coming out of the mosque when a Sumo vehicle bearing registration number JK05B-2966 hit him, causing critical wounds to him.
