One more trooper who was injured in Kautha attack has succumbed to injuries taking toll of killed soldier to five. Officials, quoted by news agency, Kashmir scroll said that militants targeted a patrolling party of the army near Badnota area, leaving at least eight soldiers injured. They added that all were shifted to hospital where four succumbed to injuries while four others  were being treated at Udhampur base hospital. They said that among injured four at Udhampur base hospital one more has succumbed to injuries taking toll to 05. They added that massive search operation has been launched in the area. Over 1.82 lakh pilgrims visited the holy cave shrine of Amarnath in the past nine days, with another batch of 5,803 pilgrims departing for Kashmir on Monday. Officials from the Shri Amarnathji Shrine Board (SASB) reported that 5,803 pilgrims left from Bhagwati Nagar Yatri Niwas in Jammu for the Valley in two escorted convoys. The first convoy, consisting of 88 vehicles and 1,862 pilgrims, departed at 3:10 a.m. for the North Kashmir Baltal base camp. Militants on Monday attacked a vehicle of the Indian army in the Machedi area of Kathua district. Suhail Dar On Monday, a 15-year-old boy was tragically stabbed to death by another youth in the Anantnag district of South Kashmir. An official told The Kashmiriyat that the teenager was found bleeding in a drainage area after which he was quickly taken to a nearby hospital and then transferred to GMC Anantnag, where doctors pronounced him dead on arrival. Meer Irfan Three residential houses were gutted in a fire incident in the Shopian district of south Kashmir. Locals told The Kashmiriyat that on Monday morning a massive blaze emerged from the house Bashir Ahmed, which later spread to nearby houses in the Adijan area of Shopian. Locals along with fire brigade personnel reach to the spot to control the fire, however, the fire could not be brought under control before at least three houses had been damaged.
