Suspected militants on Friday afternoon attacked Government forces in the main town of Bandipora in North Kashmir.
As per initial reports received by The Kashmiriyat, militants hurled a grenade and fired towards a patrol of CRPF and Police near Nishat park in the Nabripora area of Bandipora town, resulting in injuries to four Government force personnel.
“One CRPF personnel and three cops injured in the attack have been shifted to the hospital for treatment,” official sources said.
Meanwhile, the forces have reached the spot and cordoned it off to nab the attackers.
