4 people died after slipping into sewage while cleaning a well in Bijbehara area of Anantnag district.
Locals told The Kashmiriyat that they were digging a trench when they fell into it, after which locals tried to get them out.
Around 8 PM bodies were fished out from the trench after which locals shifted them to sub district hospital Bijbehara.

A hospital official, upon being contact by The Kashmiriyat said that the 4 were brought dead to the hospital. The bodies have been shifted to district hospital Anantnag for legal and medical formalities
The Deceased have been identified as Nazir Ahmad Dar, S/O Gh Hassan, Abdul Rashid Dar S/o Ghulam Hassan both residents of Tulkhan, while two others are identified as Arshed Ahmad Wani S/o Ab Rasheed Wani and Sajad Ahmad Wani S/O Arsheed Ahmad wani both from Laktipora area of Bijbhera.
A police official posted in Bijbehara said that the police has launched an investigation into the incident
