A 40-year-old woman died of cardiac arrest in Anantnag’s Batengoo area on Friday afternoon.
Family members of the woman told The Kashmiriyat that Haneefa Banoo, a resident of the Batengoo area in south Kashmir’s Anantnag district fell unconscious at her home on Friday morning.
The lady was rushed to the Bijbehara Sub-district hospital, where it was declared that she had suffered a cardiac arrest, they said.
“She was shifted to the Government medical college in Anantnag, where she breathed her last,” the family members said.
Hospital officials at district hospital of Anantnag confirming the death said that the body of the deceased has been handed over to her family members for her last rites.
