The Indian Army’s 19 Rashtriya Rifles Sikhli launches Drug De addiction campaign which was started from 10th of October and concludes 14th of October in Dooru auditorium.
According to press release issued to The Kashmiriyat, These seminars organised by the Indian Army’s 19 Rashtriya Rifles (SIKHLI) as part of its efforts to eradicate the drug menace from the Kashmir valley.
GOC Victor Force Resham Balli, Commander 2sector A. S Pundir, ADC Anantnag Sheikh Ghulam Hassan, Commanding officer 19 RR colonel Manpreet Singh, Chairman Municipal council Anantnag Hilal Ahmad Shah, President Municipal council Dooru Mohd Iqbal Ahanger, Councilors, Employees of various departments and school children were participated in seminar.
On closure of campaign multiple events were performed during Free Drug Kashmir Campaign
like interaction with medical experts, Poster making Art Gallery and Cultural programs were performed.
Welcome note were presented by Nasir Khan, Founder of Kashmir School of arts and Drama, Srinagar.
Kashmiri song and cultural program were performed on stage by Towseef bhat and Group.
During the event Dr Yasin Rather, Head of Institute of Mental Health & Neuro Science, addressing the audience about the consequences of using drugs. Martial art displayed by the team of FSLD. and a motivational talk and performance done by Faisal Fida, (Independent lyricist, rapper and also a youth icon).
The campaign aimed to reduce drug menace in Kashmir Valley.
The campaign aimed to aware the importance of educate youth about the menace of drugs and substance abuse.
Speakers addressed in his speech that say no to drugs a live a happier life.They deliberated on the ill-effects of drug abuse and highlighted the need of taking preventive measures to eradicate the menace of drugs.
The main aim of organising such programmes was to spread awareness among parents’ community to take necessary steps for curbing the drug menace.
Later on Awards and memento were distributed among those who performed their good talent in seminars.
