6 injured in firing incident in Rajouri village: Officials

At least six persons were injured in a firing incident in Dangri village of Rajouri district on Sunday evening, officials said here.

An official told the news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that a firing incident was reported in Dangri village this eveving, creating panic and chaos in the area.

He said in the incident six persons have been injured of whom few are reported to be critical and they have been rushed to GMC Rajouri for treatment.

The official said the area is around 7 to 8 kilometres away from main Rajouri town, while
police and army have rushed to the spot.

He further said it was not immediately clear whether it was militant attack or some group rivalry.

“We are ascertaining further details about the incident,” he added—(KNO)
