Man Murders Wife in Ganderbal, Throws Her Body in a Nearby River With Brother’s Help

On July 15, The Kashmiriyat reported that the dead body of an unidentified female body was recovered from in Nallah Sindh near Kangan belt in Kashmir’s Ganderbal district.

The lady who had been missing since July 11, was found four days later, when her deafd body was found floating on the river, Nallah e Sindh.

The Police officials upon receiving the information, rushed a police team to the spot and retrieved the body from the Nallah, who was later identified, the Police soon started an investigation, after which two accused were taken into detention.

The Police has made shocking revelations in the case after arresting two men regarding this case, which includes the husband of the deceased woman and his brother.

A Police official, SDPO Kangan, upon being contacted by The Kashmiriyat said that during the initial investigation, it was revealed that the two brothers, including Abdul Majeed Khan, the husband of the lady murdered her and later with the help of his brother, her threw her into the river in Nallah Sindh.

The Police official said that her dead body was kept in a shop in the Gunchi Mohalla in Ganderbal’s Kangan Belt, after which the two brothers formed a plan and threw her body into the Nallah e Sindh on July 15.

SSP Ganderbal, Khalil Poswal, praised the efforts of the Jammu Kashmir Police officials posted in the Ganderbal district’s Kangan area. “A drowning case of a lady named Rubina, wife of Abdul Majeed Khan, has been worked as a murder to have committed by her husband, Well done team Kangan, SDPO Kangan, SHO Kangan.” the SSP tweeted.
