Covid 19- Sanitization Drive in Tral by MC Tral Continues

The Municipal committee (MC) in Tral continued the drive to sanitize the public areas on Thursday in Tral belt of Pulwama district in Kashmir, in an attempt to protect people from the ongoing global pandemic.

Under the supervision of Assistant Deputy Commissioner of Tral, MC president and Executive officer , Rakesh Pandita and Manzoor Ahmad Khan respectively, the sanitization drive was carried out at Main Market areas from Bus stand  to Muqdam Mohallah, footpaths and ADC office Tral.

The Nallahs and the drains were also cleaned in this drive, which has been ongoing since the global pandemic broke out.

In this regard, President Rakesh Pandita while speaking to The Kashmiriyat said that people are requested to follow the SOPs/Guidelines under the guidelines of Government.

The sanitization drive was carried out by spraying disinfectants and bleaching power in public areas under the office of Joint MC and ADC office Tral.

“The sanitation drive will continue”, said Manzoor Ahmed Khan, the chairman.

The Locals of the area appreciated the step and said that they expect the MC Tral to continue undertaking such measures.

Pertinently, Jammu Kashmir in the last few days has seen a massive spike, the total number of positive cases has climbed upto 15711, while the death toll has gone upto 279.
