Intense Clashes have erupted on Friday afternoon in the Wachi Zainapora area of Shopian District in South Kashmir.
Eyewitnesses told The Kashmiriyat that the clashes began after scores of youth started throwing stones on a Army vehicle that passed through the area.
The troops tried to chase away the protesting youth and when the protesters regrouped the Army fired in the air to disperse the protesters.
However the clashes were going on when this report was filed.
