After Activists, Shiv Sena, Other parties Join Anti-Domicile Law Protest in Jammu

After Shiv sena & other Social activists, Now Bahujan Samajwadi Party has decided to resist the domicile law in Jammu Kashmir.

With the implementation of domicile law in Jammu Kashmir by the Central Government, the government is now busy in issuing Domicile certificate to the non-state residents and so far more than 50000 Domicile certificates have been issued to the people of non-state residents.

On Thursday, Bhahujan Samajwadi Party workers along with party president protested against the issuance of domicile certificate to these people in Jammu.

Taking strong note against this move of Central government, Jammu and Kashmir Bahujan Samajwadi Party president Som Raj Malhotra while talking to media persons during the protest said,  “After implementation of Domicile law in Jammu and Kashmir and now domicile certificates are being issued under this law to non-residents of State. Which is a threat to the people of Jammu and Kashmir as they are now eligible to buy & occupy the land of Jammu.”

By giving the citizenship of Jammu  Kashmir to the officers who have come from outside the state. People can now get jobs in Jammu and Kashmir.

He appealed to the people of Jammu not to remain silent against this law and raise their voice against it. “It’s time to wake up from our deep slumber before it gets too late,” he said.

He appealed to the government to withdraw the law as soon as possible
