The Bhartiya Janta Party had its humiliating moment on Thursday during an election rally near Circuit road of volatile South Kashmir’s Shopian district as less than eighty people visited the rally.

Sources informed The Kashmiriyat that BJP had called a rally in Shopian district wherein, Sofi Yousuf who is contesting the South Kashmir seat from Anantnag Lok Sabha Seat addressed the people.

The meeting was attended by other leaders of the Bhartiya Janta Party which formed a Government in Jammu Kashmir by joining hands with PDP, which had won majority of seats in an Anti National Conference wave in the Kashmir valley.

Amid Pro Islam slogans, the right wing party leader, Sofi Yousuf criticized the regional groups and held them responsible for the ban on separtist groups and Jamaat e Islami, something the party has been celebrating as victory at the center.

“These 80 people were the family members and relatives of the BJP members, not even a single common person visited the rally, which was announced at least two weeks ago,” Junaid Ahmed, an eyewitness told The Kashmiriyat.
