Government Middle School Palpora in Anantnag District today celebrated its Annual Day in which Zonal Education Officer Ghulam Hassan Sheikh was the Chief Guest. Zonal Education Plans Officer of the also were present in function.
On the occasion various cultural programmes were presented by the students of the institution and also highlight the importance of education for all.
While addressing the audience, Zonal Education Officer Achabal said that ‘organising Annual Days by institutions provide an opportunity to the students to expose their talents in various fields.’
He added that apart from class room learning students should be exposed to other co-curricular activities for their overall development.
In another Speech ZEPO Mushtaq Ahmad Wani said that a greater responsibility lies on the shoulders of a teacher to shape the career of a student. He assured that all required facilities and support will be provided to the students displaying talent in different fields like art, culture, crafts and other related.
Later medals and certificates were distributed among the student participants by ZEO and ZEPO.
