Army Man Dies in Road Accident in Ganderbal

An Army soldier were killed after a vehicle they were travelling in met with an accident on Srinagar leh highway at Zojila near Ranga morh in Ganderbal district.

A Police official told The Kashmiriyat that the accident occurred as the driver loss control over the vehicle and fell into the 200-ft deep gorge at Zojila pass in Ganderbal district.

He said that the vehicle was part of a convoy heading towards Srinagar bearing registration number 18D 2J7633A.

He identified deceased army man as Karan Singh, who died on the spot, while another person, critically injured was taken to hospital for specialized treatment.
