The road has a number of potholes, putting lives of the commuters at risk. They also said that the administration had turned a blind eye to the problem.

The residents say that dilapidated condition of the road has made their daily lives tough. They appealed to the L.G. administration to look into the issue and initiate the work of repair at this road at the earliest.

The residents also told The Kashmiriyat that the public vehicles now took an alternate route, i.e., via the Hope Disability Center. “The main road remains in dilapidated condition and there is no public transport facility available on this road,” they said.

“We approached the higher authorities many a times but to no avail. All our efforts went in vain. Now, once again, we putforward our request to the LG administration and the D.C., Ganderbal, that they look into the matter, and address the issue,” a local said to The Kashmiriyat.
