As Admin Fails to Construct Bridge, Locals from Baramulla Area Build Wooden Bridge on their Own

The Locals in the Check e Treran area of Tanmarg belt in North Kashmir’s Baramulla district aghast with the administration on their own constructed a wooden bridge in the area.

“The area faced nightmares without the bride, it was very tough to cross the stream in cold weather especially when the bridge that connects a lot of areas.”

Speaking to The Kashmiriyat the locals of the area said that they persistently approached the authorities to construct the bridge, however, the authorities paid no heed to their demand. “So the people of the village decided to do it on their own,” a local said.

“Money needed for the construction of bridge was collected from the residents and the construction of the bridge shall start as soon as possible,” he told The Kashmiriyat.
