The authorities, on Wednesday, issued an order to restrict the movement of individuals for all non – essential activities in Jammu district.
District Magistrate, Sushma Chahun issued an order to prohibit the movement o for all non-essential activities between 10 PM to 5 AM in the territorial limits of the District from August 5, 2020, till further orders.
Any violation of this order will be strictly dealt with under section 188 of the Indian Penal Code and other relevant sections of Epidemic Diseases Act, 1897, and the Disaster Management Act, 2005.
It’s important to note here that there has been a spike in COVID cases in Jammu district.
