A bat manufacturing unit was badly damaged in a nocturnal fire incident in Bijbehara town of South Kashmir’s Anantnag district.
The fire incident occurred in Hussanpora village of Bijbehara where this bat factory is located.
Local sources told KNT that bat factory was badly damaged in the fire incident. Fire tenders rushed to spot and controlled fire from spreading to other buildings.
The owner of the factory Muhammad Ramzan while confirming the fire incident said that timber and bats manufactured were damaged in the incident. He said property worth lakhs was destroyed in the incident.
Police registered a case and set investigation into motion
