Congress today charged the ruling party with pushing Jammu Kashmir youth to liquor addiction by opening more liquor shops as it has no jobs for youth and that it is suppressing the voice of the opposition.
Carrying forward the ongoing Satyagrah at different districts, JKPCC chief spokesperson Ravinder Sharma and Ex MP TS Bajwa along with Ex minister Bhushan Dogra and leaders of DCC Rajouri charged the BJP and LG administration of snatching business prospects and failing to give jobs instead pushing the youth to addiction of liquor by the wholesale opening of new shops year after year.
In a statement, the spokesperson said that while in opposition BJP used to oppose the opening of more liquor shops blaming the government for pushing the youth of Jammu to addiction.
“More than half of total shops were opened during BJP regime in J&K. During last nine years Congress paid back BJP in the same coin.”
Congress accused the government of suppressing the voice of opposition to silence them from raising issues of the common masses including liquor policy, unemployment, price rise, and loot of public money. (KNS)
