The Meteorological Department has issued a weather forecast for Jammu Kashmir, covering November 8–16, predicting mostly dry conditions, with a brief period of rain and snowfall expected.

According to the forecast, the region will remain dry through November 9, providing some relief to residents after an extended dry spell.

A change is expected on November 10–11, with light rain and snow likely in northern and central Kashmir, particularly affecting higher altitudes.

Following this, dry weather is anticipated to return from November 12 to November 14.

Another round of light rain and snow is expected on November 15–16, primarily in elevated areas.

Farmers are advised to proceed with harvests and secure crops in light of the upcoming weather.

Residents, especially commuters, should prepare for mist or shallow fog during early mornings and late evenings, which may reduce visibility.
