‘Brought to Kashmir to provide job at company’, Minor girl handed over to CWC Jorhat Assam

The Integrated Child Protection Services Baramulla handed over a 17-year-old girl child to the Child Welfare Committee Jorhat Assam for her reintegration to the family.

According to the reports reaching The Kashmiryat, the girl child was brought to Kashmir by a private consultancy in order to provide job in company but ended up as domestic help.

In a statement issued to The Kashmiryat, ICPS Baramulla said that the said girl child was placed in the Girls Shelter Home, Kanispora, Baramulla for Care and Protection for a period of two months by Child Welfare Committee, Baramulla.

Zubair Mohi-ud-din— Child Protection Officer (NIC) Baramulla along with two female Juvenile Police Officials escorted the girl child to Assam and was reunited with her family.
