Tral area of south Kashmir has completely turned into a military garrison ahead of 2nd death anniversary of a Hizbul Mujahideen commander Burhan Muzaffar Wani.
At every main and sensitive points security forces have established checking points and every vehicle and pedestrian enroute to trak area is being checked, sources said.
As per police sources all routes leading to tral will be closed in the evening and today non residents of Tral area will not be allowed to go towards tral area.
Many Hurriyat leaders and religious clerics have been arrested so that no programme could take place in the area.
On contacting police officials, they said that they are doing this just as a precautionary measure to keep situation normal.
Pertinently Burhan along with his two associates was killed at Bamdoora village of kokernag tehsil South kashmir’s Anantnag district on 8 July 2016.
His death sparked agitation in Kashmir Valley resulted in killing of over hundred civilians and injuring thousands of civilians and agitation lasted for over 4 months
