Joint Forces launched a massive cordon and search operation (CASO) in the village of Thajiwara, Sunsuma, Achabal in South Kashmir.
An official said that the operation was launched jointly by forces including 19RR of Indian Army, Jammu Kashmir Police, and 164 CRPF Battalion following inputs about the movement of militants in the area.
Meanwhile, locals told The Kashmiriyat that the forces have installed searchlights to keep a proper track of the militants believed to be hiding at the spot.
