The Government Forces on Tuesday night launched a massive Cordon and Search Operation in the Kharpora area of Arwani belt in South Kashmir’s Islamabad (Anantnag) District on Tuesday.
Sources told The Kashmiriyat that Rashtriya Rifles of Indian Army, Jammu Kashmir Police jointly launched an Anti Militancy operation in the area.
They said that following an input about Militant Presence in the area, the troops jointly launched a CASO.
Locals told The Kashmiriyat that the forces have blocked all the entry and exit points to the area and a massive search operation has started.
Pertinently Arwani is the native of Lashkar e Toiba district commander Azad Malik alias Dada who recently appeared in the list of Most wanted Militants.
