A 21-year-old Kashmiri student of Jessore Ad-din Sakina Medical College Hospital in Bangladesh was found hanging in the washroom of a dormitory in the medical college on Wednesday. The deceased was identified as Sheema Zehra, daughter of Ghulam Sarwar of Central Kashmir's Budgam district. Ladakh Admin removes Urdu as test language for various Government jobs

The administration of Ladakh has removed Urdu as a test language for various posts in the Revenue department. According to the notification issued by Principal Secretary Dr. Pawan Kotwal, instead of ‘Knowledge of Urdu’, ‘Bachelor’s degree from any recognized university has been made mandatory.
