The School Education Department of Jammu Kashmir has announced that it will provide free coaching for competitive exams like NEET, JEE Main to the students of class 11th and 12th studying in government schools. Sheikh Nadeem Dozens of college students, on Monday, staged a protest here at Govt. Degree College, Dooru alleging that the question paper set for them by Kashmir University was 'out of syllabus.' BOSE directs schools of J&K, Ladakh to withdraw textbooks of History & Civics for Class 7th

The Jammu Kashmir State Board of School Education has directed all the schools of the J K and Ladakh not to use textbooks of History and Civics edition 2020 for Class 7th published by JAY CEE Publications after outrage over depiction of a cartoon of Prophet Muhammad that has the sentiments of a Muslim community.
