In a video clip that was released on social media, the girl can be seen standing beside Salman — the main accused in the case — accepting that she has been in a “relationship” with the youth for quite some time and they were married. Revenue police in Almora district of Uttarakhand have arrested  BJP MP from Aonla in Uttar Pradesh Dharmendra Kashyap and three others for allegedly making use of abusive words and misconducting with the priests of Jageshwar Dham and other members of the temple management committee. According to revenue sub-inspector Gopal Singh Bisht, the incident took place on July 31. Bisht said that they have booked the MP and the accused following a complaint by the temple committee. The families of five Muslim youth who were arrested by the Uttar Pradesh Anti-Terrorist Squad (ATS) over the “Al-Qaeda module”, have outrightly denied the allegations made by the investigation agency and maintained that their kin is being falsely framed as terrorists with no firm evidence against them, demanding an immediate release of all the ‘wrongfully arrested.’ The two men, Minhaz Ahmad and Maseeruddin, were arrested on 11 July by UP ATS which claimed that the Muslim youth were “members of al-Qaeda’s Ansar Ghazwat-ul-Hind”. BJP minister in the Meghalaya government Sanbor Shullai on Friday asked people to eat more beef than chicken, mutton and fish. He said everybody was free to eat whatever they want in a democratic country. “I encourage the people to eat more beef than chicken, mutton or fish. By encouraging people to eat more beef, the perception that BJP will impose a ban on cow slaughter will be dispelled,” he told reporters on Friday. As India is celebrating 75 years of independence and commemorating it as ‘Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav’, the administration's initiative has called upon all the individuals and groups to take part in the singing competition. All the individual & group winners will get a chance to sing National Anthem at their respective district or division level Independence Day, 2021 celebrations. To be eligible for the competition, the individual or group members must be the domicile of Jammu Kashmir and not below the age of 13 years.
