Revenue police in Almora district of Uttarakhand have arrested  BJP MP from Aonla in Uttar Pradesh Dharmendra Kashyap and three others for allegedly making use of abusive words and misconducting with the priests of Jageshwar Dham and other members of the temple management committee. According to revenue sub-inspector Gopal Singh Bisht, the incident took place on July 31. Bisht said that they have booked the MP and the accused following a complaint by the temple committee. As India is celebrating 75 years of independence and commemorating it as ‘Azadi Ka Amrut Mahotsav’, the administration's initiative has called upon all the individuals and groups to take part in the singing competition. All the individual & group winners will get a chance to sing National Anthem at their respective district or division level Independence Day, 2021 celebrations. To be eligible for the competition, the individual or group members must be the domicile of Jammu Kashmir and not below the age of 13 years.
