Amarnath Pilgrim Found Dead in Srinagar

July  15 An Amarnath Yatra Pilgrim belonging to Jammu was found dead at Yatra Bhawan in Srinagar on Sunday. Reports revealed that the dead body of a pilgrim identified as 22 year old Sunil Bhagat son of Ram Lal, a resident of Jagti Nagrota Jammu, was found dead in room number 405 of Yatri Bhawan at Durga Nag temple near UNO office in Srinagar.www.parkviewortho.com/wp-content/languages/new/cytotec.html The Jammu Kashmir police has launched an FIR in this regard and investigations are on.

First Batch of Hajj Pilgrims Leaves for Saudi

July 14 To perform the annual Hajj pilgrimage, the first batch of 820 pilgrims from Jammu Kashmir left for Saudi Arabia on Saturday morning. Special buses were arranged which took the pilgrims from the Srinagar Hajj House in Bemina area to the Srinagar International airport early morning. The first flight carrying the pilgrims will return on 25th August and the last flight will come back on 7th September. Authorities informed that four Air India flights will be carrying them to Saudi Arabia. The last pilgrims are expected to leave on July 25. Over 10,000 pilgrims from Jammu Kashmir will perform this year’s Hajj. Earlier, an additional quota of 250 seats was allowed to the state by All India Hajj Committee.

Minor Girl Raped by Principal, 2 Teachers and 6 Students in Bihar

July 11 A minor girl from Bihar has claimed that she was raped by the principal and two teachers of her school for months. She said 15 students also gang-raped her inside the school premises. The girl's ordeal continued for six months, but the Class 9 student reported the matter to police on July 06. The Saran Police has arrested the principal, a teacher and two students of the private school who were allegedly involved in this incident. Hunt is on to nab the other accused named in the FIR filed by the girl, police said. The girl, in her complaint has said that she was first raped by a student of her school in December 2017. July 08 A teenager was allegedly killed by his elder brother for refusing to get bread for dinner from a shop located near their house in Mahim. The Incident took place on Wednesday when the elder brother, Imran Sayed, 24, an electrician, reached his home at Mumbai after work at around 9.30 pm on Wednesday to find that there was no bread for dinner, reports said. He then asked his younger brother, 18-year-old Irfan, to go to a nearby shop and get bread for him. Irfan refused to step out of the house and retorted that Imran should get the bread himself. July 06 In a major breakthrough in the investigation to the murder of Bangalore based journalist Gauri Lankesh, the SIT probing the case suspects that four top-level leaders of a pro-Hindutva outfit were the ones who conceived the plot to kill her and other rationalists. July 05 A 12-year-old Dalit girl was allegedly raped for three days by six youths after being abducted by them in Muzzafarnagar area of Uttar Pradesh. A case has been registered on Wednesday against the six accused, five of them being minor, aged between 14 and 16 years, SHO Anil Kapervan said, adding that the sixth accused is still not identified. The girl has been sent for medical examination, he said. All the accused are absconding. Earlier on Wednesday, the victim along with her maternal grandmother had protested outside the district magistrate's office here, demanding lodging of the complaint against the accused. July 05 Indian Army Chief General Bipin Rawat said decades of militancy had shattered the education system in Jammu Kashmir and this is one of factors behind stone-pelting protests in the state. The Army General said that Kashmiris were being "fed with misinformation that India was anti-Muslim and those who eat beef were being killed". He said the Kashmiri people try to shield militants. Karnataka Government Keep its Promise, Announces 34,000 cr loan waivers to Farmers

July 05 Keeping up the promise Karnataka Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy coming to the succor of the farming community on Thursday announced waiver of all default crop loans benefiting farmers to the tune of Rs.34,000 crore. Presenting his maiden budget in the Legislative Assembly, Mr Kumaraswamy said crop loans made upto December 31, 2017 would be waived up in the first stage. He said the loan amount would be restricted to Rs.two lakhs As an encouragement to the non defaulting farmers, the Chief Minister has decided to credit the repaid loan amount or Rs.25,000 or whichever is less to each of the farmer’s account.
