The Nepal Army has completed the construction of a 550-meter-long road Dharchula-Chhangru, connecting the two remote villages of Nepal in 4 months. The road connecting the two villages near the Indian border was demolished two years ago in a landslide. Right after this, the Nepali government handed the road construction work to the army, because the villagers used to use this route for the travelling which passed through Sitapul, Uttarakhand. But due to COVID-19 pandemic, the boundaries of India and Nepal were sealed. Since then, the villagers were stuck in their respective areas. On Tuesday, Kerala Union of Working Journalists (KUWJ) demanded Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to release Siddique Kappan, a Kerala-based journalist. Kappan was arrested along with three others on Monday by the UP police while they were heading from Delhi to Hathras. Indo-Pak Armies Trade Gunfire Along LoC in Uri

Peerzada Waseem The armies of India and Pakistan exchanged heavy gunfire at Hajipeer sector, in north Kashmir's Baramulla district on Saturday afternoon. An official told that this afternoon Pakistani rangers resorted to unprovoked ceasefire violation. He said Pakistani rangers violated ceasefire and targeted the forward post of Indian army along the line of control (LoC) areas. Locals told that areas like Hajiper Sector were affected due to the ceasefire as panic gripped in the village. Defence spokesman Colonel Rajesh Kalia said that a befitting response is being given to Pakistan side. However, officials said, that the ceasefire violation in these areas took place in this afternoon. “There was, however, no loss of life or damage to property so far,” he said.

A 26-year old local leader of Communist Party of India (Marxist) P.U. Sanoop was hacked to death in Kerala’s Thrissur on Sunday night by a group of right-wing activists, belonging to the Bharatiya Janata Party and Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) and Bajrang Dal. Maharashtra Man arrested for sending Army area pictures to Pakistani WhatsApp group

A 21-year-old man, Sanjeev Kumar, has been arrested for allegedly taking photographs of a defence area at Deolali in Maharashtra and sending the pictures to a WhatsApp group in Pakistan, police said on Sunday. Deolali in Nashik district houses defence establishments such as the School of Artillery, Artillery Centre and the Combat Army Aviation Training School. According to PTI, the accused was caught by some soldiers on Friday while clicking pictures on his mobile phone of the Military Hospital area in Deolali Camp, where photography or video shooting is not allowed, a police official said. 18-yr-Old Muslim maid found dead at TRS leader’s house after allegedly being raped
