On Wednesday a blast in Lahore's Johar Town has left 2 people dead while 14 injured. According to Dawn, the police has stated that the blast took place in a residential area near Allah Hu Boulevard. Earlier, the Lahore Deputy Commissioner, while talking to a News Channel, had said that 12 people have been injured, including women and children. A police official was said to be injured as well. The Deputy Commissioner Mudassir Riaz Malik said that while it was not immediately clear what had caused the blast, it had left behind a crater. Pakistan SC stops demolition of Hindu Dharamshala

The Pakistan Supreme Court has barred the Evacuee Trust Property Board (ETPB) from demolishing a Hindu dharamshala in Karachi and leasing it out to an individual. A three-judge bench issued the order in the case related to the implementation of a 2014 judgment on minorities rights.
