The Afghan president, Ashraf Ghani is likely to sign the decree to release around 400 Taliban prisoners. A defense spokesperson of the Indian Army said that the Pakistan Army shelled mortars at forwarding areas along the Line of Control in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir on Sunday morning, prompting retaliation by the Indian Army. When last reports were received from the shelling Mankote sector, no reports of any casualties were found, the spokesperson said.
